"Dried Flowers"
You're fragile.
So am I.
We're like a bouquet of dried flowers.
Preservations of the people that we once were before trauma siphoned our souls of all nutrients.
Sit with me while I sit with my discomfort.
It's what I need from you during moments that I cannot distract myself from my pain.
My grief.
My darkness.
Embrace me.
You don't have to tell me that everything will be okay.
We don't have to lie to each other...
Or to ourselves.
Your presence is enough for me.
